Word Formation
Cut out letters of the English alphabet on paper or cardboard and put them in a tray. Make two teams and select one person from each group to come close to the tray. Tell them a word, and the team that picks out the correct letters to form the word wins. The team that gets all the words right is the winner.
The Paper-Ice Cream Shop
This game has a kid with popsicle sticks, cones, and paper cups, a few with 3 different colors or flavors of the paper popsicle. Another kid gets a bowl of chocolate chip paper stickers and yet another kid with sprinkles. One child is the customer walking around from one kid to another, seeking to make his choice of ice cream. Here the entire team has to work fast and together to satisfy the customer in just 20 seconds or less.
Human Knot
You need to stand in a circle with friends, holding hands with your friends standing next to you. The task is you should not leave the hands of your neighbors and yet do something to stand facing outside. What you will do is a trick to make you work as a team.
Relay Dribbling
If you are thinking of some fun and action-based team building activities for kids, this is the best solution. Divide the kids into two teams. One child has to start dribbling with a basketball or a soccer ball to the end of the line in a straight manner. He has to return to the starting point and pass it on to the next child in his team. The team finishing first wins.
